UroArt is an autologous product based on cultured elastic chondrocytes combined with patient’s own plasma for the treatment of vesicoureteral reflux (VUR). VUR is the retrograde leakage of urine from the bladder into the ureter and kidneys. UroArt is used to eliminate or reduce high‑grade VUR and avoid surgical treatment in ESRD patients (patients with terminal kidney failure) who are candidates for kidney transplantation.
