HemoArt

HemoART is based on haematopoietic stem cell expansion technology. Leukaemia patients often need to be treated with a transplantion of haematopoietic stem cells. The source of cells for the transplant is usually bone marrow, stimulated peripheral blood or cord blood. Haematopoietic stem cell expansion protocols solve the problem of low cell numbers, usually obtained within cord blood, to provide treatment options for the most vulnerable patients. The technology consists of licensed protocols (one of the two existing in the world) and a license for a specific growth medium that enables this process of cell cultivation. Transfer of technology is being prepared.
