Educell is strongly connected with academic, clinical and research institutions and enterprises. Collaboration is especially close with the Blood Transfusion Centre of Slovenia. Together we invest in research projects and develop new technologies based on cell therapy.
Research collaborations have been established with the Laboratory for Stem Cells and Tissue Engineering at Columbia University.
Educell is involved in clinical trials conducted in the Orthopaedic Clinic (UMC) and several other clinics and institutes in Slovenia. All the research projects are strongly supported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, the Ministry of the Economy and the Ministry of Defence and also by the Slovenian Technology Agency.
We are very active in the Cell and Tissue Engineering Society of Slovenia whose purpose is to connect Slovenian clinic and research institutes, research groups and individuals working in the fields of cell or tissue engineering. The Society promotes education of the members and organises symposiums on the subject of cell therapy and tissue engineering. The president of the society is prim. Damjan Radosavljevič, dr. med.
