Ariana Barlič graduated in biology at University of Ljubljana, Biotechnical Faculty, obtained M.Sc. in 1998 and Ph.D. in 2000 at University of Ljubljana, Medical Faculty. She performed postdoctoral studies at University of the Basque Country, Spain, from 2001-2003. She has experiences in molecular biology, protein biochemistry, purification and characterization of recombinant proteins, fluorescence spectroscopy and preparation of model membrane systems. Since 2004 she is a researcher in Educell d.o.o., developing methods for monitoring chondrocyte differentiation states (real-time RT-PCR, biochemical analysis,...).
